I arrive. Not without a struggle.

You might ask yourself, "Who is this person who finally gets it together 3 weeks later?" That'd be me. Yes, sir. I wasn't exactly kicking and screaming, but come on, who has time to blog anyway? And who has time to read all the word dribbles that they call blogging. I mean, do I really care what someone I don't even know did over the weekend? That they swept the driveway and took the kids to the park. That their car needs to go into the shop and that they're planning a vacation to Yosemite???? I'd much rather talk to someone in person. (Besides, Blogger just didn't like me and it took forever to get this far. )

I have therefore signed in as Ned Ludd, famed leader of the Luddites, those brave and hardy Englishmen who started smashing machinery during the Industrial Revolution. They were the first crusaders against automation and symbolize anyone who, like me, has a fear or disinterest in the rapidly changing world of technology. I do love my computer and my email, but I have some serious doubts about this other stuff.

But I digress, Dear Reader. I should really start out as my perky usual self. I am going to think positive! I am going to take on this challenge, become a Web 2.0 convert, and win the BIG PRIZE!!! (So J. Balls, you snooze, you lose!)

Look out world! Here I come!
